Hi, I’m Karin,
When I grew up I wanted to be a trapeze artist, performing with a travelling circus. That did not happen, so I studied four years to become a documentary photographer.
I wanted to make a difference to the world, be on the frontline capturing stories that would be of fundamental importance to save the world and its creatures big and small (especially the small) that did not really happen either, although I tried.
If anyone asked me to photograph their wedding I said no, I’m a documentary photographer! That was till I was asked by a couple, who had seen my work from the project; behind the scenes of the Phantom of The Opera. They told me, we don’t want a wedding photographer, we want you to document our day. Ok I said….
Today I’m proud to say that I photograph weddings. The day you get married will be the one of the most important days of your life. I do not take the responsibility lightly. I will plan the day in great detail together with you, from the candid images to the formal. While you are creating memorable moments I will capture those, for you to remember forever.
I’m a Swedish Manc, living in Cheshire close to Manchester. My work is mainly in the North West of England but also in Sweden, Europe and Africa. I photograph weddings, portraits, music-events and documentary projects. I love adventures, travelling and riding my motorbike in the Sahara, while documenting the lives of the Berber people. Commissions take me to various locations.
Where will your Wedding take place? Let me know and lets have a chat.
Looking forward to hearing from you...
Karin
